Teresa Bateman

I was born in Moscow, Idaho, but we moved to Washington after I was three months, and that's my home state where I nevertheless life. I grew up graduating from Issaquah High School. My Associates level arrived from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, along with my Bachelor's degree is from BYU in Provo, UT. I've got a Masters in Library and Information Science.

That I love to travel. I have taught school in Honduras, and served a mission in Argentina, because of my church. Therefore yes, I speak Spanish. I also taught school in orbit Alaska up in St. Marys. For the past 29 years I have been a librarian at the Federal Way School District in Washington.

I have been writing all of my life. In reality, I took writing courses for fun, I could most likely have minored in English. When they found my transcripts and issued my Washington Teacher Certificate I advised me to teach English to 12th grade, together with my standard teaching certificate. This was rather sudden and I giggled when I saw that the certification. High School English was never my objective. The place I really like to be libraries are.

Writing is a very important part of my entire life. I write everyday, and enjoy sharing my work with pupils and family. I am able to get ideas from virtually anything. The world is filled with interesting things, is not it? The funny things is that my students don't think with a writer as a librarian is odd. It's the only thing they know. They think ALL librarians write books.

I believe everyone has at least a great book in them. The one difference between an author and anybody else is that the author actually puts down the words on paper.
