Amos Clarke

Amos Clarke is enthusiastic about music and composing.

He has been employed as a recording and mix engineer, songwriter and producer for well over 10 decades. He's also written several books on music production and non-fiction composing techniques.

He has worked widely in live audio and like a bass player and vocalist in working bands that have gigged around the globe. He is passionate about creating, mixing and recording music and many of his projects involve global collaboration function. Amos currently writes and plays in his two-piece indie pop (drums and bass) group, 'Premium Comfort Shoes' and also have global releases.

He published his first book, 'Macro-Mixing for its Little Recording Studio', in 2014. This was quickly followed by '56 Mix Tips for your Small Recording Studio' and 'Non-fiction Writing Essentials - A Writer's Toolkit'. His most current release is 'Song Deal for the Little Recording Studio', published in January 2016.

Amos now holds an academic standing at Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand where he's been lecturing in a tertiary level for more than 18 years. He also holds a Diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE, a Graduate Diploma in Higher Education, and a Diploma in Architectural Technology.

Amos now runs sHOWpONY, a boutique record and production studio in Auckland, New Zealand.

Mike Senior

Mike Senior is an award-winning studio engineer who first discovered his vocation while studying music at Cambridge University. After stints at different London studios (RG Jones, West Side, Angell Sound), he also turned into in-house engineer at Great Linford Manor, working together with artists like The Charlatans, Reef, Therapy, Nigel Kennedy, and Wet Wet Wet. For six years he had been Reviews Editor for Sound On Sound, the world's best-selling music recording magazine, and now writes regularly to their 'Mix Rescue', ' 'Sec Notes', and 'The Mix Review' columns.
