Erica Meltzer presumed she was completed for good using the SAT, after scoring an 800 Verbal in high school. That shifted in 2007, when she inadvertently discovered herself and answered a Craigslist advertisement. Concerned by the absence of accuratecommercial SAT prep material, she began writing her own. Her first book, "The Ultimate Guide into SAT Grammar," has been widely praised as the best supply of SAT grammar groundwork and is now used by tutoring firms across the USA.

A native of Brookline, Massachusetts and a graduate of Brookline High School (where she was required to memorize Strunk and White's "The Elements of Design" as a freshman), she retains a B.A. in Wellesley College and has also studied at Harvard, Columbia, and the Sorbonne.
