Corine Gantz lived in Paris until she was 23 and was born in France. She is the author of the best selling novel Hidden in Paris and the cookbook, now translated in ten languages. She is the author of the most popular blog Hidden in France where she muses around traveling décor, food and all things French. She is now working on a new book: tale and a family saga of loss and love that occurs in France.

She resides in Southern California with her husband and both sons.

Julia Child

Julia Child was born in Pasadena, California. She was graduated from Smith College and worked for the OSS during World War II at Ceylon and China, where she met Paul Child. After they married they lived in Paris, in which she studied at the Cordon Bleu and educated cooking with Simone Beck and Louisette Bertholle, with whom she wrote the very first quantity of Mastering the Art of French Cooking (1961). In 1963, '' Boston's WGBH launched The French Chef television series, which left her a celebrity, bringing her an Emmy in 1966 and Peabody Award in 1965. Cookbooks and A number of tv shows followed. She died in 2004.
