Miriam Fields Babineau

Miriam Fields-Babineau was able to speak to animals before she could speak to individuals. From her early years of communication with horses and cats, to finally linking with canines and exotic creatures, her life had to be centered about animals.

Ms. Fields-Babineau started training creatures professionally in 1978. In 1981 she graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in Psychology and Zoology. In 1983 she started the doors of Coaching Unlimited Animal Training and Animal Actors, Inc. providing instruction in animal communication into pet owners and providing trained animals for media productions.

Since 1985 she has printed 37 pet books, several short stories, 2 novels, numerous newspaper and magazine articles and currently writes web content for 4 sites. She develops and designs pet coaching programs, fanciful collars and harnesses.

In 2005, her fantasy of creating a luxury pet escape tasting fruit. Shady Mountain Pet Retreat provides luxury lodging and training for dogs and cats at the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Her love of animals continues to grow and she moves horseback riding every opportunity she gets.
