Don Baarns

Musicality and Dance insights from someone broadly known as the "World's Least Probably Dance Instructor."

Don Baarns has been a professional musician in his 20's, studying and working with a few of the most recorded artists in Los Angeles. Watching tens of thousands of dancers over the years while performing songs, he frequently said, "Someday I'd love to dance too, that looks like fun." It took him into his mid 40's to start that pursuit, and his light hearted, fun, self-conscious, real world journey into dancing will reward your quest greatly.

Musicians and dancers follow an amazingly parallel improvement path. Don began teaching private drum classes across 1977 and has years of teaching and audio expertise. From his start dance lessons, Don knew he would someday teach this art too, as he immediately recognized the similarities among elite musicians and dancers. Today, he passes that wisdom combined to tens of thousands of dancers in workshops, private course, his very popular dance blog, "Music4Dancers" YouTube video series. He's presently writing books also.

He specializes in teaching novice and professional dancers about musicality, growing as a dancer, along with trainers other instructors in the art and science of teaching. Professional dancers seek him out for his musicality instruction and insights to get a stronger link between the music and movements.

Be sure to have a look at his website (voted #1 Dance Blog at 2013 from the readers in "").

you'll discover over 180 articles on social dancing, musicality and dancing enhancement concepts.

He enjoys hearing from other dancers at all levels, make sure you attach with him on the many social networking sites he frequents (view the hyperlinks below.)
