Petra Tornack Zimmermann

Petra Tornack-Zimmermann is the writer of the German Tunisian crochet collection "TUNESISCH Häkeln", as well as several other patterns and leaflets for crochet and tatting. Her work is in both German and English.

Growing upward, Petra discovered her love for fiber arts at an early age. She experimented each variety she would, from knitting and crochet to tatting, embroidery, along with bobbin lace. There's not any technique that she’s tried she hasn’t totally loved. She's a genuine passion for the art of crafting something beautiful from yarn, hooks and needles.

Petra is a trained biologist, and she is inspired in her own crafting by natural forms and the beauty of the outside world. Most importantly, she enjoys creating her own designs and designs. Petra is devoted to making her patterns as simple to comprehend as possible, providing clear instructions, as well as many useful illustrations and photographs.

Thanks to electronic publishing, Petra is becoming to live her fantasy by being able to share her designs with the rest of earth.
