Claudine was prompted to begin her site DC Metro Mommy following her daughter's birth. Inspired by the lack of local parenting resources for moms, she spent months blog for neighborhood parents and made a guide and curating a record of 4,000 sellers. After composing over 700 blogs and DC Metro Mom, there was a book the next step in the trip to assist families in the region.

In a prior life, Claudine worked in Corporate America for 15 years. She often jokes that even though there are similarities, so executives are much less difficult to address than toddlers. She continues to discover new and great things that she faithfully reports back to subscribers and spends her time. She lives in Fairfax County, Virginiaalong with her two daughters and husband.
