George Plumley

I have been creating websites for over 20 decades, and utilizing WordPress exclusively for the last eight.

All my books are driven by my encounters with clients, students, and readers of earlier versions: the questions they ask, observing where they are having issues, and what works best for studying WordPress. I enjoy helping people learn, not the best way to work with WordPress, but the way to generate a website that visitors will love and use.

My number one tip for studying WordPress:

Do not be worried about figuring out all of the things WordPress can perform. Think about what your customers want and learn.

In actuality, I suggest learning any piece of software which way. Master exactly what you need, instead of being a slave to of the specifics.

Jon Duckett

Jon Duckett has been helping companies create digital solutions for over 15 decades, designing and delivering web and mobile jobs for businesses and technology startups through to international brands such as Diesel Nike, Wrangler, and Xerox.

During that time, he's has written and co-authored within a dozen books on web design and programming.

Jon has not just written his his hottest novels HTML & CSS (design and build sites) and JavaScript & jQuery (interactive front end website development), but also designed the entire publication from scratch. Dispensing with the motif of programming books, he wanted to present the info in a fashion that is much more relevant and less intimidating. The result is a fresh way to know about CSS HTML and JavaScript presented in full-color, together with tons of both info-graphics and photos that make the title stick out.
